If these figures don’t move you, nothing will:

India sees about 45,000 new cases of little children attacked by cancers every year.
From these, about 18,000 are leukaemia and lymphomas and 9000 are brain tumours.
An increasing number of cases are of eye cancer- almost 4500, and growing.
Ten years ago, childhood cancers were merely 2.5% of all cancer cases reported. Today, they have more than doubled to 5.5%, says the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR)
Alost 70% and up to 90% of all childhood cancer cases are curable, but almost 70% of them still die because of lack of information, late diagnosis and most of all, poverty!
